Bertice Berry, Ph.D, has always been ahead of her time. Back when folks were considering how to manage Work /Life Balance, Dr. Berry was busy lecturing and training large corporations and smaller associations on the power of Storytelling.
Utilizing her years of research and expertise on a range of different topics, Berry created ways for organizations to connect across the board by focusing on the culture they built, their mission and more importantly teaching them how to tell their story to one another first, and then bringing that story to the world.
Productivity increased, co workers engaged in ways that brought about solution based results and people began to understand what Berry meant when she said, "When you tell a better story, you live a better life."
Storytelling bridges the past with the future and it has a tremendous impact on the success of individuals both at work and at home.
Now, as our world changes again, Dr. Berry is leading the charge to create Communities of Belonging.
Her presentations and workshops have already had an amazing effect; people are talking, engaging and working together towards the same goals.

"You have to look outside of the world into something different. You must look beyond what you hear and see in this house. Be proud of who you are and where you are from but make sure you read and think and grow beyond this place. Let your imagination take you as far as possible and believe that you can get there." Myrna Vercher
One of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal is the tool of Inclusion. By learning from and tapping into a variety of information, philosophies, and theoretical perspectives, we can not only change the way we see the world, but we can change the world that lies within. I am certain that my ability to move beyond the poverty that I grew up in, was largely due to the diversity of information, ideas and people who became a part of my life. When I opened my mind and heart to the diversity of the world, I opened the avenues to succeed.
This internal transformation measure is a self-assessment. Your answers are you own.
This assessment is designed to enable you to see areas of your life that are lacking the ability for transformation. It will also enable you to see where you flourish. The more diverse you are internally, the more you seek diversity externally. Ironically, it is the internal diversity that fosters the cultures of inclusion. While many come to believe that sameness brings safety, security, intelligence and peace, research shows that the more diverse the individual, the more happy, productive, adventurous, and resourceful that person is.
I have used the Vercher- Berry Transformation Assessment in workshops with corporations like Northrop Grumman, SalonCentric/L'Oreal and other groups with amazing results from the participants. Dr. Berry
