Listen Up: The Power of Deep Listening for Story Telling
The Institute for Story in Savannah, Georgia in partnership with Hospice Savannah presents the Fifth Annual StoryCon where storytelling, and learning meet community and belonging.
Founded in 2020 by Jamey Espina and Bertice Berry, PhD., the Institute for Story has been named the Story Telling and Story Keeping capital of the world.
Its annual conference hosted business leaders, filmmakers, professors, scientists, religious and community leaders.
Participants come from a diversity of industry, age and backgrounds.
This year’s theme is Listen Up! The Power of Deep Listening. To maximize our listening and storytelling time together, StoryCon will take place in the beautifully serene Honey Creek Episcopal Retreat Center. This year’s workshops will be led by Institute for Story’s leaders, Gypsy Schindler storyteller, musician, artist and poet, and Bertice Berry. PhD., storyteller, sociologist, and best-selling author.
